We are looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to work within the Accounts Payable department of Clicks Group Services. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Supervisor.

Job description

Job Objectives:
  • Daily report of the unmatched TOP Ten Vendors, Stores/DC, and receivers against the Purchases for the last six months as well as the Import Ageing Analysis.
  • Set up of New vendors, Payroll vendors, New stores, and changes on SAP and JDA
  • Updating vendor spreadsheet, auctioning queries in the Vendor Queries inbox and Unconfirmed Vendors
  • Completing User Acceptance Testing of any testing to projects directly impacting the area
  • Expense Management in the form of telephone cost
  • Reconciling Balance sheet accounts
  • Accurate BEE calculations to be completed by business unit and follow-up of expired certificates.
  • Resolution of queries within KPA deadlines
  • To alert the business to any irregularities.
  • To complete daily filing of accounts and other administrative-related issues.

Minimum requirements

Education and Experience:
  • Matric / Grade 12 (essential).
  • Matric level accountancy.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification such as B.Com, Btech or certificate in advanced Bookkeeping (an advantage).
  • Strong PC literacy (Microsoft Excel, Outlook).
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar environment.
  • SAP experience(essential) and JDA experience(advantageous)
